Starting and ending in Anda, this Southern Leyte itinerary explores a coastline defined by deep water, healthy reefs, and a slower pace of life. The route focuses on sheltered anchorages and short cruising distances, allowing days to unfold naturally between diving, snorkeling, coastal exploration, and long, relaxed moments on board.

Southern Leyte is known for its exceptional marine life and uncrowded dive sites, offering encounters that feel personal rather than staged. Days are shaped by conditions rather than schedules, with an emphasis on quality over quantity — both above and below the surface. This itinerary avoids unnecessary night navigation and rushing between locations. Evenings are spent at anchor whenever possible, ensuring quiet nights, deep sleep, and no-stress mornings.

Maximum 3 dives per day, often 2 dives only, leaving more time to explore, enjoy the scenery, and relax.

There's no race between dive sites with our Southern Leyte itinerary. Instead we choose a pace for all on board to enjoy the boat, the diving and the nature.

Philippines Explorer 2 itinerary: 7 days & 6 nights, departing from Anda*

Day 1: Dauin - embarkation, check dive in Anda area, take quiet anchorage for sunset

Day 2: Anda coral walls, turtles and drift

Day 3: Limasawa Island hard coral gardens and walls

Day 4: Napantao marine sanctuary walls & Santa Paz / Maltibog (for macro lovers, if desired)

Day 5: Tangkaan & Padre Burgos

Day 6: Pintuyan whale shark initiative (snorkelling only)

Day 7: Cruise back to Anda for disembarkation
